NTP failed to synchronize time. The time synchronization function is unavailable.

Possible Causes

  • The ntpd process is not running.
  • DNS resolution fails.
  • The network connection between the storage device and the NTP server is disconnected.
  • The NTP service is abnormal.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the NTP server IP address is correctly configured.

    1. If no, correct the configuration.
    2. If yes=> Step2.

  2. Check whether the network connection between the storage device and the NTP server is correct.

    1. If no, recover the network connection.
    2. If yes=> Step3.

  3. Check whether the NTP certificate matches the certificate on the server.

    1. If no, import the correct NTP certificate.
    2. If yes=> Step4.
