Impact on the System

  • If a controller is rebooting for self healing, the reliability of the storage system will be reduced.
  • With the write-through function being enabled (by default) when an engine works with a single controller, if the faulty controller cannot return to normal within the specified time period, the engine shifts to the write-through mode and the read/write performance is reduced.
