Possible Causes

  • The member disk is faulty or removed.
  • The remaining hot spare capacity is lower than the threshold.

Procedure

  1. Check whether any disk in the disk domain is removed.

    1. If yes, reinsert the removed disks. If the alarm persists=> Step2.
    2. If no=> Step2.

  2. Check whether faulty disks exist in the disk domain.

    1. If yes, replace the faulty disks. After the reconstruction of the faulty disk is completed, if the alarm persists=> Step3.
    2. If no=> Step3.

  3. Check whether any disk is about to become faulty in the disk domain.

    1. If yes, replace faulty disks after the pre-copy is completed. After the replacement, if the alarm persists=> Step4.
    2. If no=> Step4.

  4. Check whether any disk with faulty flash memory chips exists within the disk domain.

    1. If yes, use the CRU or FRU replacement tool to replace the disk. If the alarm persists=> Step5.
    2. If no=> Step5.

  5. Add disks to the disk domain. After the disks are added, if the alarm persists=> Step6.
  6. Collect all related information and contact technical support engineers.
