Users cannot perform backup, cross-AZ/POD restore, copy, remote replication, or HA operations.

Possible Causes

The license file is invalid.


  1. Possible cause 1: The license file is invalid.

    1. Apply for a new license file by referring to License Functions and Features, Obtaining the ESN, and Applying for a License in the OceanStor BCManager 6.5.0 eBackup License Application Instructions.
    2. Log in to the backup server GUI as user admin.
    3. Choose Settings > License.
    4. Click Import. In the displayed dialog box, select the license file and click Open.
    5. Wait for three minutes and choose Monitor > Alarm to check whether the alarm is cleared.
      • If yes=>no further action is required.
      • If no=>contact technical support engineers.
