show protected_environment

Function

The show protected_environment command is used to query protected environment information or to query information about protected objects in a protected environment.

Format

show protected_environment [details=?] [name_pattern=?] [ID=?] [page=?] [page_size=?] [protected_object_name=?]

Parameters

Value

details=?

Query mode.

The value can be brief or verbose, where:

  • brief: queries protected environments in batch.
  • verbose: queries VM information in a specified protected environment.

name_pattern=?

Full or partial characters of protected environment names.

This parameter is valid only when details is brief.

The value contains a string of 1 to 128 characters which can only be letters, digits, Chinese characters, plus signs (+), underscores (_), hyphens (-), periods (.), and at signs (@).

ID=?

Protected environment ID.

This parameter is valid only when details is verbose.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 9223372036854775807.

page=?

Sequence number of the page that you want to query when protected environments or VMs are too many to be displayed on one page.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 10000. The default value is 1.

page_size=?

Number of records displayed on one page.

The value is an integer ranging from 15 to 100. The default value is 50.

protected_object_name=?

Protected object name.

This parameter is valid only when details is verbose and the ID is specified.

The length is 1 to 256 characters.

System Response

The following table explains some parameters in the command output:

Parameter

Description

ID

Protected environment ID.

Name

Protected environment name.

Type

Protected environment type. The value is VMware, Storage or FusionSphere.

Protocol

Protocol for the communication between the backup system and the management plane of the protected environment. The value can be https or http.

Address

IP address of the protected environment.

Port

Port for the communication between the backup system and the management plane of the protected environment.

Last Update Time

Last time when the protected environment is scanned.

Cert Expiration Time

Time when the certificate expires.

Protected Object Name

The name of the protected object.

UUID

UUID of the protected object, it is assigned by backup management system, not the universally unique identifier of the VM or LUN in the protected environment.

WWN

If the protected object is a LUN, it will display the WWN for the LUN.

Protection Status

The protection status of the protected object in latest week. All backup jobs for this protected object are successful, then display "Successful". If some backup jobs are failed, then display "Partially". If there's no backup job for this protected object, then display "Unprotected".

Type

The type of the protected object, display the VM' operating system or LUN type.

Last Backup Time

The last backup time of the protected object.

Last Backuo Status

The last backup status of the protected object.

Capacity(MB)

The total disk size of the protected object.

Storage Pool

If the protected object is a LUN, it will display the storage pool where the LUN located.
