Function

Queries storage unit information.

Format

show storage_unit [name_pattern=?] [page=?] [page_size=?]

Parameters

Value

name_pattern

Full or partial characters of storage unit names.

The value contains a string of 1 to 128 characters which can only be letters, digits, Chinese characters, plus signs (+), underscores (_), hyphens (-), periods (.), and at signs (@).

page=?

Sequence number of the page that you want to query when storage units are too many to be displayed on one page.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 10000. The default value is 1.

page_size=?

Number of records displayed on one page.

The value is an integer ranging from 15 to 100. The default value is 50.

System Response

The following table explains some parameters in the command output:

Parameter

Description

ID

Storage unit ID.

Name

Storage unit name.

Storage Unit Level

Storage unit levels: default, tier 1, and tier 2.

The value can be 0, 1, or 2.

  • Value 0 indicates that the storage unit level is default: The storage unit can serve as tier 1 and 2 backup storage units concurrently.
  • Value 1 indicates that the storage unit level is tier 1: Applicable to local backup, and the supported storage unit types involve NAS and S3.
  • Value 2 indicates that the storage unit level is tier 2: Applicable to remote copy, and the supported storage unit types involve NAS and S3.

File System Type

Type of the file system used in the back-end storage. The value can be NFS or CIFS.

Total Capacity(GB)

Total capacity of the storage unit.

  • When the back-end storage type is NFS, the total capacity of a storage unit is that of the shared directory.
  • When the back-end storage type is CIFS, the total capacity of a storage unit is that of the shared directory.
  • When the back-end storage is S3 storage, the total capacity of a storage unit is that of the bucket.

Available Capacity(GB)

Available capacity of the storage unit.

Usage(%)

Proportion of used capacity to total capacity of the storage unit.

Path

Path for accessing the back-end storage.

  • When the back-end storage type is NAS, the path is the NFS or CIFS shared path.
  • When the back-end storage is S3 storage, the path is the S3 storage path.

Running Status

Running status of the storage unit. The status can be Scanning , Fully accessible, Partially accessible, or Not accessible, where:

  • Scanning: The storage unit is connecting with backup proxies.
  • Fully accessible: all backup proxy can access it.
  • Partially accessible: not all backup proxy can access it.
  • Not accessible: no backup proxy can access it.

Protocol

Protocol for communication between the backup system and the S3 storage unit.

Description

Description of the storage unit.
