show backup_policy

Function

Queries backup policies.

Format

show backup_policy [details=?] [name_pattern=?] [page=?] [page_size=?] [ID=?]

Value

details=?

Query mode.

The value can be brief or verbose, where:

  • brief: displays general information about backup policies.
  • verbose: displays details about a backup policy.

name_pattern=?

Full or partial characters of backup policy names.

This parameter is valid only when details is brief.

The value contains a string of 1 to 128 characters which can only be letters, digits, Chinese characters, plus signs (+), underscores (_), hyphens (-), periods (.), and at signs (@).

page=?

When there are too many backup strategies, you need to display the page. This parameter specifies the information that needs to be displayed on the first few pages.

This parameter is valid when details is brief.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 10000. The default value is 1.

page_size=?

Number of records displayed on one page.

This parameter is valid when details is brief.

The value is an integer ranging from 15 to 100. The default value is 50.

ID=?

Backup policy ID.

This parameter is valid only when details is verbose.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 9223372036854775807.

Description

ID

Backup policy ID.

Name

Backup policy name.

Schedule Type

Schedule type. The value can be Day or Oncetime.

Days in a Week

Days (in a week) when the policy is executed. Every two days are separated by a comma (,).

Weeks in a Month

Weeks (in a month) when the policy is executed.

Excluded Days in a Month

Days (in a month) when the policy is not executed.

Point in time

Execution time.

Enable Full

Whether to enable periodic full backup.

Days in a Week for full

Days (in a week) when the policy is executed. Every two days are separated by a comma (,).

Weeks in a Month for full

Weeks (in a month) when the policy is executed.

Excluded Days in a Month for full

Days (in a month) when the policy is not executed.

Point in time for full

A series of time-points when the full backup is launched.

Once Date

Time when the policy is executed for once.

Retry Enable

Whether to try again if the backup fails.

Retry Times

Retry times.

Retry Duration (hours)

Time span from the start of the first backup to the end of the retry.

Retention Type

Defines the retention period and number of backup snapshots generated by VMs. The value can be SnapQuantity, Time, or Permanently.

Data Layout

The format of the backup data stored on back-end storage. The value can be regular, deduped, compressed, or deduped, compressed.

Verify Type

Data verification type. Whether to generate CRC32 for each data block. The value can be quick or full.

Description of the backup policy.

Number Of Generations

Number of retained backup images.

Yearly Backup Images Retention

Retention years of backup images (one copy a year).

Monthly Backup Images Retention

Retention months of backup images (one copy a month).

Weekly Backup Images Retention

Retention weeks of backup images (one copy a week).

Daily Backup Images Retention

Retention days of backup images (one copy a day).

Keep For Time

Retention period of the backup images.
