Function

Deletes an invalid storage unit.

Format

delete faulted_storage_unit ID

ID of the storage unit that you want to delete.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 9223372036854775807.

Usage Guidelines

  1. Run show storage_unit to check the ID of the storage unit that you want to delete.
  2. After this command is successfully executed, the following operation is needed:

    1. Log in to the operating system of each backup proxy use hcp accout, and switch to user "root" by inputing command su root and its password.
    2. Run the command umount and input the mount point, so that the storage unit is unmounted.
    3. Run the command chattr -i and input the mount point to modify the directory attributes, so that it can be removed later.
    4. Run the command rm -rf and input the mount point to remove it.

Example

Delete the invalid storage unit whose ID is 1.

management:/>delete faulted_storage_unit 1 
DANGER: You are going to delete a faulted storage unit(ID:1), and delete associated storage pool, repository, backup plan and backup image, this command can be executed only when the storage unit is permanently damaged.  
Suggestion: Before you perform this operation, determine whether the storage unit needs to be deleted.
