Performing a Health Check

Run the following command to perform a health check:

./dswareTool.sh --op healthCheck -nodeIp nodeIp1,nodeIp2,... -nodeType nodeType -items item1,item2,... -nodeUserName(optional) nodeUserName

Parameter

Description

./dswareTool.sh

Specifies an executable program for the tool.

--op healthCheck

Performs a health check.

-nodeIp nodeIp1,nodeIp2,...

Specifies the IP addresses of the nodes to be checked. Multiple IP addresses are separated using commas (,).

-nodeType nodeType

Specifies the type of the node to be checked. The value can be FSM, FSA, or Cluster.

-items item1,item2,...

Specifies the health check items. Multiple items are separated using commas (,).

-nodeUserName(optional) nodeUserName

Specifies the user name for logging in to the standby FSM node. This parameter is mandatory only when a standby FSM node health check is performed.

NOTE:
  1. Health check cannot be performed simultaneously on the FSM nodes, FSA nodes, or a cluster, that is, nodeType can be set only to FSM, FSA, or Cluster.
  2. The check result will be displayed on the screen, including the node IP address (nodeIp) and results of the check items (itemId-result-resultDetail).
  3. If the health check is performed on the cluster, nodeIp is determined by the deployment mode of the FSM node. If the FSM node is deployed in active/standby mode, nodeIp is the floating IP address. If the FSM node is deployed in standalone mode, nodeIp is the management IP address of the FSM node.
