Configuring Backup Server Information

Run the following command to configure backup server information:

./dswareTool.sh --op setBackupServer -ip ip -u userName -port(optional) port -t(optional) ftp/ftps -isUpload(optional) true/false

Parameter

Description

./dswareTool.sh

Specifies an executable program for the tool.

--op setBackupServer

Configures backup server information.

-ip ip

Specifies the IP address of the backup server.

-u userName

Specifies the user name for logging in to the server.

-port(optional) port

Specifies the port of the server. This parameter is optional. If it is not configured, the default value is 21.

-t(optional) ftp/ftps

Specifies the transmission mode. This parameter is optional. If it is not configured, the default value is ftps.

-isUpload(optional) true/false

Specifies whether to upload backup server information to the third-party backup device. This parameter is optional. If it is not specified, the default value is true.

An IPv4 example is provided as follows:

dsware@FSM:/opt/dsware/client/bin> ./dswareTool.sh --op setBackupServer -ip 192.168.61.32 -u 'galaxmanager'
Enter ftp user password:
Retype ftp user password:
[Thu Nov 5 14:14:43 CST 2015] DswareTool operation start.
Operation finish successfully. Result Code:0

An IPv6 example is provided as follows:
