Dynamically Modifying I/O-related System Configuration Parameters

Run the following command to dynamically modify I/O-related system configuration parameters (invokes FSA interfaces from the FSM node to modify the VBS configuration file and memory information):

sh dswareTool.sh --op modifyIoDynamicParas -para g_iops_limit_per_vbs:v1,g_iobw_limit_per_vbs:v2,g_io_limit_alarm_ratio:v3,g_io_limit_restore_ratio:v4,g_io_limit_alarm_time_threshold:v5,g_io_limit_alarm_report_period:v6 -ip(optional) ip1,ip2,ip3,...

./dswareTool.sh

Specifies an executable program for the tool.

--op modifyIoDynamicParas

Dynamically modifies I/O-related system configuration parameters.

-para g_iops_limit_per_vbs:v1,g_iobw_limit_per_vbs:v2,g_io_limit_alarm_ratio:v3,g_io_limit_restore_ratio:v4,g_io_limit_alarm_time_threshold:v5,g_io_limit_alarm_report_period:v6

Specifies the dynamically editable parameters. All the following parameters must be modified together.

g_iops_limit_per_vbs: The value ranges from 0 to 200000.

g_iobw_limit_per_vbs: The value ranges from 0 to 100000.

g_io_limit_alarm_ratio: The value ranges from 0 to 100.

g_io_limit_restore_ratio: The value ranges from 0 to 100.

g_io_limit_alarm_time_threshold: The value ranges from 0 to 300.

g_io_limit_alarm_report_period: The value ranges from 0 to 3600.

-ip(optional) ip1,ip2,ip3,...

Specifies the IP address of the node whose I/O related parameters are to be modified. This parameter is optional. If it is left empty, I/O related parameters of all VBS nodes are modified.

An IPv4 example is provided as follows:

dsware@FSM01:/opt/dsware/client/bin> sh dswareTool.sh --op modifyIoDynamicParas -para g_iops_limit_per_vbs:2000,g_iobw_limit_per_vbs:100,g_io_limit_alarm_ratio:60,g_io_limit_restore_ratio:70,g_io_limit_alarm_time_threshold:80,g_io_limit_alarm_report_period:90
