Resetting the FTPS User Password

Run the following command to reset the FTPS user password:

NOTE:

You must use the machine-machine administrator account admin to run this command. Enter the passwords of users admin and Ftps as prompted.

./dswareTool.sh --op resetFtpsPassword -id username

Parameter

Description

./dswareTool.sh

Specifies an executable program for the tool.

--op resetFtpsPassword

Resets the FTPS user password.

-id username

Specifies the name of the FTPS user for which the account password is to be reset.

An example is provided as follows:

dsware@FSM01:/opt/dsware/client/bin> sh dswareTool.sh --op resetFtpsPassword -id metadata_backup
[Tue Dec 13 12:50:02 CET 2016] DswareTool operation start.
Enter Admin Password :
Enter New Password For metadata_backup:
Confirm New Password For metadata_backup:
Operation finish successfully. Result Code:0
