Changing the REST API Account Password

This operation is risky. You must confirm whether to continue to execute the command.

Run the following command to change the REST API account password:

You are required to enter the REST username, old password, and new password as prompted. The REST username must be admin. For the default password of user admin, see "Account Information Overview" in the FusionStorage product documentation.

./ --op modpwd




Specifies an executable program for the tool.

--op modpwd

Changes the REST API account password.

An example command output is as follows.

dsware@FSM:/opt/dsware/client/bin> ./ --op modpwd
