Starting the OpenSM Services on the FusionStorage Agent

This operation is risky. You must confirm whether to continue to execute the command.

Run the following command to start the OpenSM services on the FusionStorage Agent:

./dswareTool.sh --op startupOpenSM -ip nodeMgrIp -num number -ports ib0,ib1

Parameter

Description

./dswareTool.sh

Specifies an executable program for the tool.

--op startupOpenSM

Starts the OpenSM services on the FusionStorage Agent.

-ip nodeMgrIp

Specifies the management IP address of the FusionStorage Agent.

-num number

Specifies the number of OpenSM processes to be started, for example, 1 or 2.

-ports ib0,ib1

Specifies the IB network ports.

An IPv4 example is provided as follows:

dsware@FSM:/opt/dsware/client/bin> ./dswareTool.sh --op startupOpenSM -ip 192.168.36.45 -num 2 -ports ib0,ib1
If the system contains multiple subracks or cabinets,deploy the OpenSM processes on different subracks or cabinets to improve process reliability.please input y to continue y
