Binding Network Ports in Batches

Run the following command to bind network ports in batches:

sh dswareTool.sh --op batchCreatePortAggr -n bondName -p port1,port2... -m mode -ip ip1-ip2,ip3...

Parameter

Description

./dswareTool.sh

Specifies an executable program for the tool.

--op batchCreatePortAggr

Binds network ports in batches.

-n bondName

Specifies the name of the bond port.

-p port1,port2...

Specifies the name of the network port.

-m mode

Specifies the binding mode. The value ranges from 0 to 6.

-ip ip1-ip2,ip3...

Specifies the management IP addresses of the to-be-created nodes. The value can be an IP address or an IP address segment, for example, 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.3.

An IPv4 example is provided as follows:

dsware@FSM:/opt/dsware/client/bin> ./dswareTool.sh --op batchCreatePortAggr -n Bond1 -p ib0,ib1 -m 1 -ip 192.168.1.2

An IPv6 example is provided as follows:

NOTE:

Modify the /opt/dsware/client/conf/dsware.xml configuration file based on the actual environment before running this command. A taskId value is displayed after the command is successfully executed. Then you can run the queryTaskInfo command to query the network port binding progress.

After the preceding command is successfully executed, run the queryChildrenTaskInfo and queryTaskLogInfo commands to query detailed task information.
