Forcibly Replacing a Main Storage Disk

This operation is risky. You must confirm whether to continue to execute the command.

Run the following command to forcibly replace the faulty main storage disk in the event of a single point of failure in the resource pool:

./dswareTool.sh --op forceReplaceSingleDisk -id poolId -slot slotNo -nodeMgrIp nodeMgrIp -ignoreMediaFault(optional) true/false(default)

Parameter

Description

./dswareTool.sh

Specifies an executable program for the tool.

--op forceReplaceSingleDisk

Forcibly replaces a main storage disk.

-id poolId

Specifies the ID of the storage pool.

-slot slotNo

Specifies the slot of the disk.

-nodeMgrIp nodeMgrIp

Specifies the IP address of the node.

-ignoreMediaFault(optional) true/false(default)

Specifies whether to ignore the faulty medium. The value can be true or false (default). This parameter is optional.

An IPv4 example is provided as follows:
