Restoring the Control Cluster in the Emergent Scenario

Run the following command to restore the control cluster in the emergent scenario:

sh /opt/dsware/client/bin/dswareTool.sh --op Service nameCmd -subOp resumeControlCluster -controlClusterId controlClusterId -resumeType resumeType -nodeIps ip1,ip2,ip3

Parameter

Description

/opt/dsware/client/bin/dswareTool.sh

Specifies an executable program for the tool.

--op Service nameCmd

Self-defined based on the service.

For the replication service, the value is drCmd.

For the dgw service, the value is dgwCmd.

-subOp resumeControlCluster

Restores the control cluster in the emergent scenario.

-controlClusterId controlClusterId

Specifies the control cluster ID.

-resumeType resumeType

Specifies the restoration type.

The value can be 0 or 1. When the node OSs are reinstalled (nodes and metadata disks are not changed) or DSware volumes are used as metadata disks (nodes and metadata volumes are changed), set this parameter to 1. When the nodes are changed (metadata disks are changed) or metadata disks are changed (fixed in the code as parameters), set this parameter to 0.

-nodeIps ip1,ip2,ip3

Specifies the IP address of the node to be restored.

An IPv4 example is provided as follows:
