Node Scale-in

Node Scale-in

This operation is risky. You must confirm before to continue to run the command.

Run the following command to scale in the storage nodes

./ --op deleteStorageNode -id poolId -ip nodeMgrIp




Specifies an executable program for the tool.

--op deleteStorageNode

Runs the node scale-in command

-id poolId

Specifies the ID of the storage pool to be scaled in, for example, poolId can be set to 0.

-ip nodeMgrIp

Specifies nodeMgrIp as the management IP address of the node to be scaled in.

An example is provided as follows:

dsware@FSM:/opt/dsware/client/bin> ./ --op deleteStorageNode -id 0 -ip

After the command is executed successfully, a taskId is returned. You can run the queryTaskInfo command to query the scale-in progress.
