Enabling or Disabling the SSL Certificate Verification

Run the following command to enable or disable the certificate verification for a specified process:

NOTE:

Before updating the certificate, disable the certificate verification between the FSM node and the FSA node to avoid link interruption during certificate update. After the certificate is successfully updated, enable the certificate verification between the FSM node and the FSA node.

./dswareTool.sh --op switchCertificateValidation -processName FSA/FSM -operation open/close

Parameter

Description

./dswareTool.sh

Specifies an executable program for the tool.

--op switchCertificateValidation

Enables or disables the SSL certificate verification.

-processName FSA/FSM

Specifies the name of the process for which the certificate verification is to be enabled or disabled. The value can be FSM or FSA.

-operation open/close

Specifies the type of the operation. The value can be open (enables the verification) or close (disables the verification).

An example is provided as follows:

dsware@FSM01:/opt/dsware/client/bin> sh dswareTool.sh --op switchCertificateValidation -processName FSA -operation close
