Connecting a Power Cable for a TaiShan 2280 V2 25-Slot Node

This section describes how to connect a power cable for a TaiShan 2280 V2 25-slot node to provide power for the storage node.

TaiShan 2280 V2 25-slot nodes are supported only by FusionStorage or later.

  • A PDU for the Huawei cabinet or a power distribution device for the third-party cabinet has been prepared.
  • All required tools have been prepared, including Phillips screwdrivers, cable ties, diagonal pliers, and ESD gloves or an ESD wrist strap.
  • A TaiShan 2280 V2 25-slot node has been installed.

  1. Wear an ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves.
  2. Insert one end of an AC power cable into the cable connector on the AC PSU of the TaiShan 2280 V2 12-slot node, as shown in Figure 9-13.

  3. Use a velcro strap to bundle the power cable onto the handle of the PSU.
  4. Connect the other end of the power cable to the power port of the immediately adjacent PDU and then lock it up, as shown in Figure 9-14.

To ensure that devices can operate stably, connect power cables on a device supplied by two PSUs to separate PDUs.
