Attaching Labels

Attaching Labels

This section describes different methods of attaching labels.

Attaching PGND and Power Cable Labels

First attach a label to the sign plate of the cable tie (only to one side). Then, bind the cable tie to the position 20 mm from the connector, as shown in Figure A-122.

  • Attach the label to the rectangular recess on the sign plate. Which side the label is attached to is not specified (determined by a customer) but must be unified.
  • The distance between a label and a connector can be adjusted but must be unified.
  • When cables are routed vertically, their labels face the right side; when routed horizontally, labels face upwards.

Attaching Labels to Power Cables Inside a Cabinet

Attach the label to the place 20 mm from the power cable connector, as shown in Figure A-123.

  • Do not attach a label to a bending part or a place where the label may affect cable installation.
  • The distance between a label and a connector can be adjusted but must be unified.
  • When cables are routed vertically, their labels face the right side; when routed horizontally, labels face upwards.

Attaching Signal Cable Labels

Attach the label to the place 20 mm from the signal cable connector and fold the label, as shown in Figure A-124 and Figure A-125.

  • Do not attach a label to a bending part or a place where the label may affect cable installation.
  • The distance between a label and a connector can be adjusted but must be unified.
  • When cables are routed vertically, their labels face the right side; when routed horizontally, labels face upwards.
