Using a Crane Arm

Do not stand under the crane arm or lifted equipment when the crane is working.

  • Do not suddenly stop or start the crane after the crane has lifted equipment or when the crane arm is spinning.
  • Ensure that the crane lifts equipment steadily and that the equipment is not swaying.
  • When the crane is lifting equipment, ensure that the angle between any two hoist cables is not greater than 90 degrees.
