Connecting a Power Cable for a 2288H V5 25-Slot Node
This section describes how to connect a power cable for a 2288H V5 25-slot node to provide power for the storage node.
Prerequisites
- A PDU for the Huawei cabinet or a power distribution device for the third-party cabinet has been prepared.
- All required tools have been prepared, including Phillips screwdrivers, cable ties, diagonal pliers, and ESD gloves or an ESD wrist strap.
- A 2288H V5 25-slot node has been installed.
Procedure
- Wear an ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves.
- Insert one end of an AC power cable into the cable connector on the AC PSU of the 2288H V5 25-slot node, as shown in Figure 9-3.
- Use a velcro strap to bundle the power cable onto the handle of the PSU.
- Connect the other end of the power cable to the power port of the immediately adjacent PDU and then lock it up, as shown in Figure 9-4.

To ensure that devices can operate stably, connect power cables on a device supplied by two PSUs to separate PDUs.
