Removing a 2288H V5 Node, TaiShan 2280 V2 12-Slot Node, or TaiShan 2280 V2 25-Slot Node from Its Cabinet

  1. Power off the faulty node.

    Log in to DeviceManager and choose Cluster > Hardware. In the faulty node area, click and select Power Off.
    NOTE:

    If you cannot access the faulty node by DeviceManager, use the KVM to log in to the faulty node as user root, and run the poweroff command to power off the node.

  2. Remove all power cables and external signal cables.
  3. Loosen the captive screws on the panel using a Phillips screwdriver, as shown in step 1 in Figure 27-1. Slowly pull out the storage node along the guide rails, as shown in step 2 in Figure 27-1.

  4. Lever the latches on both sides upwards, hold the bottom of the storage node, and remove the node in the arrow direction, as shown in Figure 27-2.

  5. Place the removed storage node on an ESD table.
