Access Control

Access control enables you to specify IP addresses that are allowed to access the system through the CLI or DeviceManager. To enable access control, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Choose Settings > User and Security > Access Control.
  3. Click Add. The Add IP Address/Address Segment dialog box is displayed. Set the IP addresses that are allowed to access the system.

    • IP address segment: If you set Start IP Address and End IP Address, only IP addresses in this segment can access the system.
    • IP address: If you set IP Address, only this IP address can access the system.

  4. Click OK.
  5. If Access Control Status is Disable, click Enable. In the warning dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
