Account Maintenance

Periodically check accounts, delete unnecessary accounts, and modifies accounts' permissions if necessary.

  • Check whether accounts are necessary and temporary accounts are deleted.
    • Log in to a node as user root and run the cat /etc/group and cat /etc/passwd commands to view the groups and accounts created on the operating system.
    • Log in to DeviceManager as user admin, choose Settings > User and Security > Users and Roles > User Management, and view DeviceManager accounts.

    All default accounts are listed in Default Accounts. Check whether non-default accounts are necessary.

  • Check whether the permissions of each account are appropriate.
  • Check and audit the login and operation logs about each account.
