Importing and Activating Certificates

Importing and Activating Certificates

If the storage system communicates with external devices, it is recommended that you use certificate verification to improve service security. You are advised to replace the default security certificates with certificates obtained from a formal organization and promptly replace the certificates that are about to expire. This section describes how to import and activate certificates.

  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Choose Settings > Certificate Management.
  3. Locate the row that contains the desired certificate, click , and select Import and Activate. The Import and Activate dialog box is displayed.

Select a service certificate, CA certificate, and private key file as required.

  4. Click OK.

The system displays a message indicating that the certificates are imported and activated successfully. The imported certificates are displayed in the certificate list.
