This section uses 10GE switches as an example to describe how to configure storage switches.

Procedure

  1. Log in to a switch. For details, see Logging In to a Switch.
  2. Configure stacking.

    1. Confirm that the stack cables have been connected.
    2. Configure stack ports on switch 1.
      #Configure the stack priority, stack ID, and domain ID.

    3. Disable the stacking function of switch 1 temporarily.

      If two switch records are displayed, and the stack ID and stack priority are the same as the prior settings, the stack is successfully configured.

  3. Optional: Configure a storage network VLAN. If the storage network is a RoCE network, you need to configure a VLAN.
