This document is applicable to OceanStor 5300 V5, 5500 V5, 5600 V5, 5800 V5, 6800 V5, 5300F V5, 5500F V5, 5600F V5, 5800F V5 and 6800F V5. This document describes how to download and install OceanStor SystemReporter, and how to use SystemReporter and troubleshoot the common issues.

FCoE Port

On SystemReporter, you can view the historical performance view of FCoE ports. In addition, you can export and save the historical performance view to analyze performance indicators of FCoE ports.

Prerequisites

Before viewing monitoring data, ensure that Collection Switch has been enabled. If Collection Switch has not been enabled, choose System > System Configuration > Registration and Configuration and enable Collection Switch for the device whose monitoring data you want to view.
Save historical monitoring data on the device has been enabled. If it has not been enabled, follow instructions in Configuring a Data Collection Policy to enable it.

Procedure

Go to the monitoring page.
1. On the menu bar, click Monitoring.
2. In the left navigation tree, choose Device model > Device name > Front-End Port > FCoE Port.
  NOTE:
  Device model and Device nameindicate the model and name of the device that has been registered.
3. In the function pane on the right, click Historical.
Optional: From the Indicator Template drop-down list, select an indicator template.
NOTE:
You can click Details after Indicator Template to view indicators of the current object type in the current indicator template.
Optional: Create an indicator template.
1. You can click Create after Indicator Template to create an indicator template.
  The Create Indicator Template dialog box is displayed.
2. Set Name and Description of the indicator template.
3. Click Add Indicator.
  The Add Indicator dialog box is displayed.
4. Select indicators that you want to add to the indicator template and click OK.
Optional: From the statistical period drop-down list, select a statistical period.
NOTE:
If Custom is selected, set the start time and end time for the historical performance view. The start time cannot be earlier than 1 year before.
From the Display Rules drop-down list, select objects that you want to display.
NOTE:
- The display rules include Top 5, Top 10, Top 16, Bottom 5, Bottom 10, Bottom 16 and Custom.
- When the display rule is Top 5, Top 10, Top 16, Bottom 5, Bottom 10, or Bottom 16, the views are displayed following the selected rule. For example, if the Top 5 of usage (%), all views display object data ranking top 5 in terms of usage (%).
- If the display rule is Top 5, Top 10, Top 16, Bottom 5, Bottom 10, or Bottom 16, the color of the same object varies on different performance indicator charts, because the colors before objects are used to represent the sequence of object indicators, but not to represent specific objects. If you want to use the same color for an object in different performance indicator charts, you can customize a method to query performance data.
Optional: Customize display items.
1. Click after Display Rules.
  The Customize Display Items dialog box is displayed.
  NOTE:
  Click . The latest object information is displayed.
2. In the available object area, select the objects that you want to display and click .
3. Click OK.
In the function pane on the right, check the indicator view.

Follow-up Procedure

In the function pane on the right, you can perform operations described in Table 4-46.

Show/Hide	Click indicators or object names under the horizontal coordinate of the monitoring view.	Show or hide the current indicator or object curve.
Display performance views in two columns.	Click .	Display performance views of all indicators in two columns.
Display performance views in a single column.	Click .	Display performance views of all indicators in a single column.
Show multiple objects in one column.	Click . Beside the performance line graph, click .	Display performance views of all indicators in a single column. Each view compares one performance indicator of multiple objects.
Show one object in one column.	Click . Beside the performance line graph, click .	Display performance views of all indicators in a single column. Each view shows the performance indicators of one object only.
Export	Click Export.	Export historical performance monitoring data. NOTE: The performance data can be exported to a PDF, HTML, XLS or CSV file.
Favorites	Click Favorites. In the Favorites dialog box, configure Name. NOTE: The name contains a maximum of 32 characters. The name can contain only digits, letters, underscores(_), and hyphens(-), and must start with a letter or underscore(_). Click OK.	Save the performance curves of indicators to Favorites Folder in Home.
Save Layout	Click .	Store the layout after locations of indicators on the page are changed. NOTE: If indicators in the indicator template change, the layout will be reset to its initial status.
