Preparing an Installation Package
Before installing SystemReporter, obtain an installation package and check whether the package is complete. You can obtain the SystemReporter installation package in the CD-ROM delivered with the product.
Prerequisites
You have applied for the permission in advance to download the SystemReporter installation package from Huawei support website.
Procedure
- Obtain the installation package.
If you are an enterprise network user, perform the following steps to obtain the software package.
- Go to the Huawei support website http://support.huawei.com/enterprise.
- Click Log In, and enter User/Email and Password.
- In the search field, enter product model (such as 5500 V5), and select a path from the paths that are automatically displayed to go to the document page of the product.
- Click Downloads, and select the desired version. The the software download page is displayed.
- Download the installation package.
If you are a carrier user, perform the following steps to obtain the software package.
- Go to the Huawei support website http://support.huawei.com/carrier/.
- Click Log In, and enter User/Email and Password.
- In the search field, enter product model (such as 5500 V5), and select a path from the paths that are automatically displayed to go to the document page of the product.
- Click Downloads, and select the desired version. The the software download page is displayed.
- Download the installation package.
- Verify the package integrity.
- Go to http://support.huawei.com/enterprise/toolNewInfoAction!toToolDetail?contentId=TL1000000054&productLineId=8221819, select an appropriate version and download the OpenPGP signature verification tool and verification guide.
- Check whether the installation package is complete. For details, see the OpenPGP Signature Verification Guide.
