Using SystemReporter
This section describes how to use SystemReporter to view performance statistical reports of storage devices.
- Viewing Real-Time Monitoring Reports
This section describes how to view performance data of storage systems in real time during the latest period without interrupting normal services. Objects and performance indicators monitored by SystemReporter vary with different registered storage arrays. For details, see information displayed on the SystemReporter interface. - Viewing Historical Monitoring Reports
By viewing historical monitoring reports, you can know the performance view of storage system objects during a past period, which facilitates the performance analysis of storage systems and ensures normal services. Objects and performance indicators monitored by SystemReporter vary with different registered storage arrays. For details, see information displayed on the SystemReporter interface. - Viewing a Capacity Trend Report
This section describes how to view the current capacity status of arrays, storage pools, disk domains, hosts, LUN groups, snapshot LUNs, thin LUNs, file systems and quota trees. You can forecast the capacity trend based on the capacity statistics of a past period. - Viewing and Exporting Alarms
In the list of current and historical alarms, you can acknowledge, unacknowledge, clear, and export alarms based on site requirements, as well as analyze performance problems in storage systems. - Analyzing Performance Data
After importing performance files of a local device or other devices and parsing these files into performance data that can be displayed on SystemReporter, you can analyze the data to know the performance of specific devices.
