Disk Domain Capacity
SystemReporter allows you to view the capacity trend view of a disk domain during a past period. You can export, save, and forecast the trend view to facilitate the capacity indicator analysis of the disk domain.
Prerequisites
Before viewing monitoring data, ensure that Collection Switch has been enabled. If Collection Switch has not been enabled, choose System > System Configuration > Registration and Configuration and enable Collection Switch for the device whose monitoring data you want to view.
Save historical monitoring data on the device has been enabled. If it has not been enabled, follow instructions in Configuring a Data Collection Policy to enable it.
Procedure
Go to the page for viewing the capacity trend view of a disk domain.
On the navigation bar, click Trend.
In the navigation tree, choose Device Type > Device Name (XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX) > Disk Domain Capacity.
The page showing capacity trend views of disk domains is displayed. On this page, you can check the capacity trend view of a specific disk domain.
Select disk domains and a time range for the trend view.
In the Name list of the function pane, select a disk domain.
Select a time range from Statistical Period of the function pane.
NOTE:
If you select Custom, set the start time and end time for the trend view. The start time cannot be earlier than 1 year before.
In the function pane, view the trend view of disk domain capacity.
NOTE:
On the page, the allocated capacity of the disk domain includes the hot spare capacity.
Optional: Forecast the capacity of a disk domain.
In the function pane, click Predict Capacity.
The Predict Capacity dialog box is displayed.
Configure the period whose performance statistics are used as reference and the period during which performance needs to be predicted.
Click OK.
In the Predict Capacity dialog box, check the disk domain capacity forecast view in SystemReporter.
Follow-up Procedure
In the function pane on the right, you can perform operations described in Table 4-77.

Click Export.
You can export statistics of the capacity trend.
NOTE:
The performance data can be exported to a PDF, HTML, XLS or CSV file.
Save to Favorites.
Click Favorites.
In the Favorites dialog box, configure Name.
NOTE:
The name contains a maximum of 32 characters.
The name can contain only digits, letters, underscores(_), and hyphens(-), and must start with a letter or underscore(_).
Click OK.
You can save the capacity trend view on the home page panel and view it after next login.
Show/Hide
Click indicators or object names under the horizontal coordinate of the monitoring view.
You can show or hide the current indicator or object curve.
Save
Click .
You can save the view as a .png image. Then a download window is popped up from the status bar.
Zoom in a selected area
Click .
You can select an area in the view and zoom in the selected area.
Roll back in a selected area
Click .
You can roll back to the status before the zoom in.
Restore
Click .
You can restore the amplified image.
Refresh
Click .
You can refresh the capacity trend view to display the latest indicator state.
