Exit

Exit

On the Exit screen, you can change and save BIOS parameters and exit the BIOS setup. 1 or 2 shows the Exit screen. Table 4-59 describes the parameters on the screen.

The Exit screen varies according to the server and BIOS version.

Parameter

Description

Save Changes and Exit

Saves all changes and exits the BIOS.

Save Changes without Exit

Saves all changes and does not exit the BIOS.

Discard Changes and Exit

Discards all changes and exits the BIOS.

Load Defaults

Restores the BIOS factory settings.

NOTE:

The following information cannot be restored:

  • Date and time information on the Main page
  • BIOS startup logo
  • All parameters (except watchdog parameters) under IPMI iBMC Configuration on the Advanced tab page
  • Password parameters on the Security tab page

Load Custom Defaults

Restores customized BIOS default settings.

NOTE:

This parameter is supported only by the following BIOS versions with customized default values:

  • BIOS V163 and later on TaiShan 200 servers (models 1280, 2280, 5280, and 2180).
  • All BIOS versions on TaiShan 200 servers (models 5180, 2280VE, and 5280VE)
  • BIOS V332 and later on TaiShan 200 servers (models 2480 and 5290)
  • All BIOS versions on TaiShan 200 Pro servers (models 1280, 2280, and 2480)

Set Custom Defaults

Sets the customized BIOS defaults.

NOTE:
  • Customizable options do not include Secure Boot, Support TEE, Kaslr Support, and TEE Memory Size.
  • If both Load Custom Default and Set Custom Defaults are set, only Load Custom Default takes effect.
  • Only BIOS V656 and later versions support this parameter.

Uefi openEule Grub Boot

NOTE:

The boot options displayed on this screen vary according to OSs.

Indicates the boot option.
