Performance Config
TaiShan 200 servers (models XA320 and XA320C) do not support this screen.
This section describes how to configure the processor performance on the Performance Config screen.
Figure shows the Performance Config screen. Table 4-26 describes the parameters.
Parameter |
Description |
Default Value |
---|---|---|
Power Policy |
Indicates the energy-saving mode of the server. The options are as follows:
|
Efficiency |
DEMT |
Selects a Dynamic Energy Management Technology (DEMT) mode. In fast mode, the frequency modulation speed is fast. Once the CPU load increases to 90% or above, the CPU immediately runs at the highest frequency. Once the CPU load drops to less than 90%, the CPU immediately runs at the lowest frequency. In smooth mode, the frequency modulation speed is slow. When the CPU load increases to 90% or above, the CPU smoothly runs to the highest frequency. When the CPU load drops to less than 90%, the CPU smoothly runs to the lowest frequency. The options are as follows:
NOTE:
|
Disable |
Cache Mode |
Selects an optimized cache mode. You are advised to use the default value. The options are as follows:
|
in: partition out: share |
Stream Write Mode |
Specifies the data write path after the stream write feature is triggered. The options are as follows:
|
Allocate share LLC |
Stream Write VALUE |
Specifies the threshold for triggering the stream write feature. The options are as follows:
|
threshold: 12 lines |
HHA SpecConfig Mode |
Configures the speculative read waterline: HHA speculative read brings benefits to applications with less inter-cache communication. However, in HPC scenarios, inter-cache communication is frequent, and the bandwidth of memory-bound applications is large. HHA speculative read brings few benefits and occupies bandwidth, deteriorating application performance. The options are as follows:
|
Enabled |
Performance Profile |
Sets the performance profile. The options are as follows:
|
Custom |
SSBS Support |
Enables or disables the SSBS instruction set. The options are as follows:
|
Enabled |
