Setting the BIOS Time and Date
Scenarios
Set the time and date of the BIOS using the BIOS.
Procedure
- Access the BIOS. For details, see Accessing the BIOS.
- Press ← or → to switch to the Main screen shown in Figure 3-14, which is an example screen for TaiShan 200 (model 2280).
- Set the system date and time.
- Select System Date.The system date is in the month/day/year format. To switch among the month, day, and year fields, press Enter twice or Tab. The setting takes effect immediately. To change the values, use the following methods:
- Press + to increase the value by 1.
- Press - to decrease the value by 1.
- Press a number key. Select the value to be changed and press Enter. After the change, press Enter to exit.
- Select System Time.The system time is in the 24-hour format hh:mm:ss. To switch among the hour, minute, and second fields, press Enter twice or Tab. The setting takes effect immediately. To change the values, use the following methods:
- Press + to increase the value by 1.
- Press - to decrease the value by 1.
- Press a number key. Select the value to be changed and press Enter. After the change, press Enter to exit.
- Select System Date.
