Introduction
The LST7G48SX6S0 provides high performance, large entry sizes, and a large buffer for data switching. This card is highly integrated and has a large port density.
The LST7G48SX6S0 can be installed in:
- Slots 01 to 04 in an S12700E-4 chassis.
- Slots 01 to 08 in an S12700E-8 chassis.
- Slots 01 to 12 in an S12700E-12 chassis.
Functions
- Communicates with the MPU and works under the control of the MPU.
- Searches for routes and destination addresses of data packets for forwarding.
- Forwards data packets.
