Replacing an Indoor Fan
Prerequisites
- An indoor fan needs to be replaced.
- A spare indoor fan of the same model is available and functional.
- Tools: protective gloves, Phillips screwdriver, diagonal pliers, cable tie
Context
An indoor fan needs to be maintained from the front door. Replacing fan 9 is used as an example.
Procedure
- Tap Shutdown on the home screen of the display module.
The indoor fan can also be maintained when the device is started.
- Open the front door and switch off the circuit breaker for the faulty fan 9.Figure 11-2 Switching off the circuit breaker for the faulty fan 9
- Cut the cable ties that bind the cable connected to the faulty fan, and remove the fan terminals. Take out the faulty fan.Figure 11-3 Taking out a faulty fan
- Install a new fan and fan guard, connect the terminals, and secure the cable using cable ties.Figure 11-4 Installing a new fan
- Switch on the circuit breaker for fan 9, and close the front door.Figure 11-5 Switching on the circuit breaker for fan 9
- Choose on the home screen and clear the runtime of the indoor fan.
- Tap Startup on the home screen and check that the smart cooling product is running properly and no alarm is generated.
If the indoor fans are maintained when the device is started, manually clear the corresponding alarm.
