Port Numbering of LPUs
On the CloudEngine 16800 series switches, ports are numbered in the format of stack member ID/slot ID/subcard ID/port number.
Stack member ID: A port number does not contain the stack member ID if the device is not in a stack.
Slot ID: identifies in which slot a card is installed.
Subcard ID: Cards on the CloudEngine 16800 series switches do not support subcards, so the subcard ID is always 0.
Port number: indicates the number of each port on a card.
There are two rows of ports on a card of the CloudEngine 16800 series switches. These ports are numbered from top to bottom and left to right starting from 0.
