CloudEngine 16808 AC&High-Voltage DC PEM
Overview
The CloudEngine 16808 AC&high-voltage DC PEM connects the CloudEngine 16808 to AC&high-voltage DC power sources. The PEM is pre-installed by default, and cannot be removed, installed, or replaced onsite.
The PEM is integrated into the chassis and does not need to be configured onsite. Do not remove or install the PEM onsite.

Input Requirements
- In an AC power distribution scenario, the 220 V AC input is supported.
- 240 V/380 V high-voltage DC input is supported in high-voltage DC power distribution scenarios.
Protection components must be provided for power distribution frames (PDFs). When the AC and high-voltage DC power is from an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), ensure that the rated current on each line is not less than 16 A. When the AC and high-voltage DC power is from the mains power grid, ensure that the rated current on each line is not less than 20 A.
Note the derating requirements of protection components when using protection components such as fuses and circuit breakers.
The input circuit breakers of a PDF must match the output circuit breakers.
If the front-end PDF does not provide enough power inputs, configure a power distribution box (PDB) that meets the following requirements:
When the AC power is from a UPS, the output current on each line of the AC PDB is not less than 16 A. When the AC power is from the mains power grid, the output current on each line of the AC PDB is not less than 20 A.
The PDB supports double-line backup.
The input current of the PDB is not less than the sum of current of its connected output lines.
