STA Whitelist Profile

Overview

A STA whitelist profile contains MAC addresses of STAs allowed to connect to the WLAN. To allow only some STAs to connect to the WLAN, configure a STA whitelist profile and apply the STA whitelist profile to an AP system profile or a VAP profile.

CLI-based Procedure

Web-based Procedure

1. Log in to the web platform, and choose Configuration > AP Config > AP Group or Configuration > AP Config > AP Config. Click the AP group name or AP ID to access the AP group or AP configuration page.

2. Choose AP > STA Blacklist And Whitelist Profile > STA Blacklist And Whitelist Profile, and configure and apply a STA whitelist profile in the AP system profile. Alternatively, click VAP Configuration to create a VAP profile. Then select STA Blacklist And Whitelist Profile, and configure and apply a STA whitelist profile in the VAP profile.

3. Select Whitelist, and create a STA whitelist profile. Table 3-49 describes the related parameters.

   Item	Description
   MAC/OUI	Maintain addresses in the STA whitelist. Adding addresses one by one # Click Add. The Add Address page is displayed. # Enter a MAC or OUI address and click . Multiple MAC and OUI addresses can be added. Click to delete the selected MAC and OUI address. # Click OK. Adding addresses in batches # Click Batch Import. The Import Address page is displayed. # Click and select the file containing MAC and OUI addresses that you want to import, and click Import. NOTE: You can click to download the MAC and OUI file profile. # Click Apply. In the Info dialog box that is displayed, click OK. Deleting MAC and OUI addresses # Select the MAC and OUI address that you want to delete and click Delete. In the Confirm dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
