SLA&QoS Management |
SLA Management monitors the key performance indicators (such as latency, jitter, and packet loss) that affect network service quality, provide warnings on potential performance degradation, and support fault location and network optimization. eSight QoS Management is a QoS-based traffic monitoring tool. It measures the network performance counters such as the actually consumed traffic, discarded traffic, excess traffic, and traffic efficiency for interfaces and VLANs configured with traffic policies. |
Optional |
Yes |
eSight Network Device Manager |
|
iPCA Management |
Monitors the quality of agile networks. It performs packet loss detection over IP unicast packets for Huawei's agile devices and directly connected links, displays detection results in the topology, and performs network-level detection over agile devices to monitor the quality of unicast services. |
Optional |
Yes |
eSight Network Device Manager |
|
Network Traffic Analyzer |
Network Traffic Analyzer component is a tool for network administrators to analyze application traffic, diagnose network faults, plan network capacity, and audit network traffic. This component ensures stable and efficient networks. |
Optional |
Yes |
eSight Network Device Manager |
|
Network Traffic Collector |
The Network Traffic Collector (NTC) is an application that parses packets exported from the NetStream data exporter (NDE), aggregates traffic data, saves original traffic logs, and sends the logs to the network management console using SFTP. The NTC can collect data exported from multiple NDEs and perform filtering and aggregation operations on collected data. NOTE:
The NTC can be deployed independently. |
Optional |
Yes NOTE:
When the NTC is deployed independently, the active eSight server can be deployed in a single-node system or in HA mode. |
