A 5G cellular interface is a basic feature of a router and is not under license control.
Hardware Requirements
5G cellular interfaces can be configured on models that support 5G interface cards. For details about the models that support 5G interface cards, see in NetEngine AR Hardware Description - Cards - 5G Card.
Feature Limitations
- The 5G cellular interfaces of routers does not support SMS Message.
- Routers support two network architectures: NSA and SA.
- Adjusting the 5G antenna position can make the NR signal have a strong RSRP. To check the RSRP value, run the display cellular interface-number { all | hardware | security | network | profile | radio }.
- 5G interface cards support the dual-SIM configuration.
- A device with dual SIM cards supports dual-card single-standby. By default, a SIM card is installed in the SIM1 slot. If it is installed in the SIM2 slot, run the sim switch to command to make the SIM card in the SIM2 slot take effect.
- V300R019C11 and later versions support this feature.
