Configuring a VDSL Interface to Work in ATM Mode
Context
The device supports two working modes for VDSL interfaces: ATM for transmitting ATM cells and PTM for transmitting Ethernet frames.
The device functions as a CPE. A VDSL interface on the device must work in the same mode as the VDSL interface on the DSLAM.
Procedure
- Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
- Run set workmode slot slot-id vdsl atm
A VDSL interface is configured to work in ATM mode.
By default, VDSL interfaces work in PTM mode.
After running the set workmode vdsl command, you need to restart the card or device and wait for a period of time to make the configuration take effect.
