Restarting a 3G/LTE Modem Automatically in No Service State
Context
When a 3G/LTE cellular interface is in no service state because exceptions occur in the network environment, set the maximum number of times a 3G/LTE modem automatically restarts and the no-service state detection interval. When the 3G/LTE modem remains in no service state after the detection interval is up, the router restarts this 3G/LTE modem. When the number of times the 3G/LTE modem automatically restarts reaches the maximum value, the router detects the 3G/LTE modem service state again for automatic fault recovery.
Procedure
- Run the system-view command to enter the system view.
- Run the interface cellular interface-number command to enter the 3G cellular interface view.
- Run the modem auto-recovery services-unavailable action modem-reboot
test-times times interval interval command to
configure the maximum number of times a 3G/LTE modem automatically
restarts and the no-service state detection interval.
It is recommended that the maximum number of times a 3G/LTE modem automatically restarts not exceed 8.
