(Optional) Configuring the GPRS Encryption Algorithm on an LTE Cellular Interface
Context
By default, the LTE modem of a device supports the GEA 1.0 and GEA 2.0 encryption algorithms, and does not support the GEA 3.0 encryption algorithm. When an LTE modem on a device initiates a registration request to a core network, the request packet carries the GPRS encryption algorithms GEA 1.0 and GEA 2.0. The core network selects an encryption mode based on the capability of itself. The device can access the network only when the encryption mode matches that of the network.
The device embedded with the ME909s-821 modem only in V300R019C11 and later versions supports the modem encryption-algorithm { gea1_gea2 | gea2_gea3 } command.
Procedure
- Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
- Run interface cellular interface-number
The LTE cellular interface view is displayed.
- Configure the GPRS encryption algorithms supported by the LTE modem on the cellular interface.
- When the device is embedded with the ME909s-821 modem, run the modem encryption-algorithm { gea1_gea2 | gea2_gea3 } command.
