Clearing Statistics About IPv6 PIM Control Packets
Context
If an interface has been forwarding multicast packets for a time after IPv6 PIM is enabled, the router stores statistics about a large number of control messages. You can clear the statistics about IPv6 PIM control packets so that the router can collect new statistics. This operation does not affect normal running of IPv6 PIM.
Statistics about IPv6 PIM control messages on an interface cannot be restored after you clear them. Confirm your action before clearing the statistics.
