Verifying the RPF Check Policy Configuration
Context
After changing the reverse path forwarding (RPF) check policy, check the multicast static routing table, multicast routing table, and RPF routing table to verify that the multicast network can operate normally.
Procedure
- Run the display multicast routing-table [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name ] static [ config ] [ source-address { mask | mask-length } ] command to check the multicast static routing table.
- Run the display multicast [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name | all-instance ] routing-table [ group-address [ mask { group-mask | group-mask-length } ] | source-address [ mask { source-mask | source-mask-length } ] | incoming-interface { interface-type interface-number | register } | outgoing-interface { include | exclude | match } { interface-type interface-number | register | none } ] * [ outgoing-interface-number [ number ] ] command to check the multicast routing table.
- Run the display multicast [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name | all-instance ] rpf-info source-address [ group-address ] [ rpt | spt ] command to check the RPF route to a specified multicast source.
