SOHO WLAN Networking Application
The SOHO WLAN solution applies to independent small-scale networks, for example, small-scale enterprises, stores, cafe bars, SOHO offices, or enterprise branches where WLAN services are deployed independently.
Most of SOHO WLAN networks have no independent authentication server or NMS device and use the autonomous architecture (Fat AP). In Figure 2-12, an AR router is deployed on the SOHO WLAN to function as the Fat AP.
