Port Planning
Before installing devices, the network administrator must plan the ports of different types to meet service requirements.
If logical ports are created based on bond ports or VLAN ports, the bond ports or VLAN ports can only be used for the block storage service.
After planning ports, you must formulate port correlation tables for connections between the application server and switch ports, and for connections between the storage system and switch ports. Table 2-16 shows port correlation between the application server and switches, and Table 2-17 shows port correlation between the storage system and switches.
