0xF3C010006 One Storage Array Of A HyperMetro Pair Is Isolated
Description
The performance difference between the local and remote storage arrays of the HyperMetro pair exceeds the upper limit. Then one storage array is isolated.
Applicable Model
Applicable to all models.
Impact on the System
After the storage array is isolated, the HyperMetro pair is suspended. The storage array that has longer write I/O latency will stop providing services, decreasing reliability.
Possible Causes
- The isolated storage array has slow disks.
- The isolated storage array has an alarm indicating overheating batteries, fans, or CPUs.
- The disk domain where the HyperMetro member LUN resides is faulty on the isolated storage array.
- The storage pool where the HyperMetro member LUN resides is faulty or full.
- The service load is too heavy.
Procedure
- Check whether an alarm is generated indicating slow disks.
- Check whether an alarm is generated indicating overheating batteries, fans, or CPUs.
- Check whether an alarm is generated indicating that the disk domain where the HyperMetro member LUN resides is faulty.
- Check whether an alarm is generated indicating that the storage pool where the HyperMetro member LUN resides is faulty or full.
- Check whether an alarm is generated indicating controller overload.
- Check whether an alarm is generated indicating degraded links.
- Check whether the member LUNs of the HyperMetro pair are in write-through status or write protection status.
- If yes, collect related information and contact technical support engineers.
